The Science of Being Well by the author Wallace D. Wattles is a well written, concise and easy read, that explains how the interaction between our thoughts, faith and beliefs affect the physiology of our human make-up. In short, the author postulates that our health is directly governed by the inner power of the subconscious mind, which is fed pertinent information from our conscious thoughts, internal imagination and subsequent imagery held and emotional feelings; including our faith and belief that we have the ability to change our reality.

The author covers aspects such as what we should eat and how to eat, to enable proper functioning of our stomach digestive juices and the extraction of vital nutrients to serve the physical body. There is also a section on how to sleep successfully and overcome pain – to some degree.

This is a book stripped down to its key components, related to the science and art of maintaining good health. In a nutshell, it states that our consciousness, mind, matter, energy and all of life is but the manifestation of One Intelligent Substance. In other words, we are all interconnected.

In my opinion, the information contained within the book is correct. However, if you have read one of his previous books such as the Science of Getting Rich, you will find the same material. This is because there is only one truth; and that is the power of our mind affects and impacts all of life that we come to know as our reality – no exceptions to this.
