The Path of Prosperity by James Allen

Today while reading the book “The Path to Prosperity” by James Allen, I felt that Allen was whispering close to my ears, “I wrote this book for you.”

I love this book. I have most of the book highlighted because there are so many quotes I like to go back and read over & over again.

I was challenged to find themes in this book as I read. Here’s a few that I found: self-government, power of thought, power over circumstances, improving your inner life improves your outer life, make the best of what you have, rise above your situation, conquer bad thoughts/self-control, virtue, service/unselfishness, work, replacing anxiety with calmness, happiness, faith.

One of my favorite quotes in the book is:
“If circumstances had the power to bless or harm, they would bless & harm all men alike, but the fact that the same circumstances will be alike good & bad to different souls proves that the good or bad is not in the circumstance, but only in the mind of him that encounters it.”

An awesome book, everyone should read, It will help to get the happiness which is a long lasting one. Love, faith, Hard work, Good thoughts, selflessness, Knowledge leads to happiness, whilst anger, hates, selfishness, laziness, leads to sorrow. If you have the latter one then, it is because of the ignorance.

Blame nobody but yourself. Then come out of you and find the cause and effect. Try to learn from the mistake to find peace and happiness
